Kevin McCabe

Kevin McCabe is the founder and Chairman of Scarborough Group International and many of its other globally branded Scarborough corporates. Kevin commenced a career in the construction industry in 1964 from his home City of Sheffield and thereafter qualified as a Quantity Surveyor.
His first owned corporation – County Properties Limited – was formed in 1976 being a precursor to the original Scarborough Group International, set up coincidental to the floatation of County on the London Stock Exchange in 1980.
Kevin’s longstanding experience stretches not only to Real Estate but also financial and corporate knowledge involving the leadership of private and public organisations across the globe. Kevin was also a driving force behind Scarborough Group International’s expansion, which started back in the 1990s into Europe, the Far East and beyond.
Simon McCabe is a surveyor with over 18 years’ experience within the property industry. Simon heads up the Group’s property development and investment business throughout the UK. Prior to joining Scarborough Group, Simon spent a number of years working for a private quantity surveying firm, a national development company and had a short stint as a professional footballer. Simon has excellent knowledge of the property market and leisure industry, and is a key member to the strategic team for future Group strategies and forward planning.

Jeremy Tutton
Chief Financial Officer

Jeremy has over 30 years’ experience working in finance, specifically within the Real Estate industry. Before joining Scarborough Jeremy has worked for Valad Property Group, Teesland PLC, Capital & Regional Properties PLC, Marylebone Warwick Balfour PLC and Allied London Properties PLC. Jeremy has a wealth of experience in corporate acquisitions and disposals, Real Estate fund launches and stock market listings, tax planning and audit compliance within highly regulated environments.
Paul is a Chartered Surveyor with two decades of experience in the property industry across the UK and Ireland with a focus primarily across all commercial sectors. Paul is responsible for the identification and delivery of commercial and mixed use developments across the UK and the day to day management of the Scarborough Group’s Manchester office. Prior to joining Scarborough Group, Paul was a Partner at Knight Frank in their Development and Agency team where he advised commercial occupiers, property developers and UK funds on the delivery, disposal and management of their property assets.
After graduating from the University of Reading Mark joined Teesland (part of Scarborough Group) in 1995 working within the property development team, in 2002 he joined one of Scarborough’s development partners, the housebuilder Gladedale Group, becoming a Director of a number of companies within the Group and Managing Director of its mixed use division. Mark then re-joined the Scarborough Group in January 2010 as the Group purchased a number of new assets and expanded its property development business throughout the UK. Marks role as Development Director sees him lead a number of the Groups development projects but in particular managing three key Northern Power House projects, namely Thorpe Park – Leeds, Sheffield DC, and Sheffield Olympic Legacy Park – Sheffield.
Howard Cartwright

Howard is a Chartered Building Surveyor and is based in our Manchester office. He was formerly an Associate Director with Highcross Strategic Advisers Ltd and has also worked recently for Praxis Real Estate Management Ltd. He has over 30 years’ experience of dealing with Commercial Property across all sectors including industrial, retail, residential and offices and is involved in project managing all aspects of the Group’s development work.
Nicola is responsible for the residential sales of the Group’s development pipeline and has over 20 years’ experience with a proven track record of delivery. Leading on the sales & marketing disciplines on all residential homes across the Group, she works closely with the development team to deliver award-winning mixed-use neighbourhoods. Nicola reports directly to the Board and is responsible for developing and implementing a robust residential sales & marketing strategy which adds value, is within budget, on brand and delivers the sales of new homes whilst ensuring maximum revenue is achieved.
Prior to joining Scarborough Group, Nicola worked for 13 years with award winning property developer Urbansplash, ultimately as Residential Sales Director responsible for National Sales.
Jon is responsible for overseeing the delivery of the Group’s major new developments across the Yorkshire region, including the next phase of Thorpe Park Leeds and Sheffield Olympic Legacy Park.
A Member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors with over 24 years’ experience in the property and construction industry, Jon specialises in the building surveying and project management disciplines and has worked for clients including Homes England, Drax Power and Hermes Parcelnet.
Adam is a RICS qualified, Chartered Surveyor with over two decades’ experience in the UK commercial property sector. Based in Leeds Adam is working on the groups Northern Powerhouse projects across Yorkshire, creating new communities & exemplary buildings for businesses and people to thrive.
Prior to joining Scarborough Group, Adam was the Head of Office Advisory at Lambert Smith Hampton’s Leeds office, where he specialised in the acquisition and disposal of commercial workspace across Yorkshire and the North East. Adam has worked with a wide range of local, national and international businesses understanding their business requirements to assist them in developing their office relocation strategies and maximising the opportunity that an office relocation can create. In addition, Adam also worked on behalf of investors and developers within the public, private and third sectors, successfully letting and selling workspace across the Northern Powerhouse regions.
Ross is a qualified Chartered Surveyor with over a decade of experience within the commercial real estate market, with experience across transactional, development and asset management sectors. Previously Ross has advised a broad range of clients within Ryden and Cushman & Wakefield before more latterly establishing EGM Property Consultants in 2018 through which Ross continues to provide Scarborough Group development and consultancy advice across their Scottish portfolio.
Ian Sanderson

With 32 years of commercial development and specialist asset management experience, Ian is one of the UK’s leading leisure and retail property experts. His extensive involvement in all aspects of regeneration, development and delivery has established him as an expert in bringing footfall and vibrancy to high-profile projects across the UK.
Ian has been brought on board as a consultant to accelerate the next phase of development at Sheffield Olympic Legacy Park.
Rachel is our Senior Commercial Manager and is responsible for leading on the asset management and leasing strategy for our major development and investment projects across the UK.
Rachel is a RICS qualified Chartered Surveyor, with over six years of experience working across the UK commercial property market, specialising in property acquisition and disposal services.
Nicola is a qualified marketing professional with over 20 years’ experience of working within the property industry. She joined the Group in January 2021 from Lambert Smith Hampton, where she held the position of Head of Marketing and Business Development.
Nicola heads up the marketing and PR strategy for SGI’s corporate and commercial projects and works closely with the development team to create and deliver engaging, multi-channel marcomms campaigns designed to maximise brand awareness and loyalty, as well as generate and nurture new leasing and sales opportunities.
Andrew is responsible for examining and reporting on all of the Group’s current and future construction projects to help maintain the highest quality standards and mitigate any potential risk.
Having spent the majority of his career in the Building Control team at Sheffield City Council, he has a wealth of experience in ensuring that construction projects comply with the latest Building Regulations.
Joseph Udall

Joseph is responsible for overseeing the planning and delivery of the Group’s construction projects across the UK in a timely and cost effective manner.
He has over 15 years’ experience in the construction industry, having run a successful building company, which he set up in 2010 after securing a start-up grant from the Princes Trust.
After gaining a BA Hons degree in Sport and Leisure Management, Andy has spent twenty-five years working in Sports Development and facility planning, delivering national projects with local outcomes. Now directly advising schools on the management of Physical Activity and Wellbeing, including an Olympic Inspire Mark award winning Leadership Programme
In 2012 Andy set up Fairway Sports, a sports facility and development planning consultancy, to support new projects with funding applications, planning submission and sustainable management. Andy retains a close relationship with the Scarborough Group working on the delivery of Green Park and Sheffield Olympic Legacy Park, as well as advising on health and wellbeing and leisure developments within the Group.

Susan joined Scarborough Group over 20 years ago with a wealth of experience in trading and marketing and was involved in numerous property development and investment projects in the UK.
She was instrumental in setting up the Scarborough Group’s offices in China and Hong Kong, sourcing investment opportunities with good potentials, and growing the investments together with well-established partners in the Far East.
After discovering Novell coffee, a well-known Barcelona brand with over 60 years heritage, and bringing it to Hong Kong, she created the popular and award-winning Espuma restaurant chain leading the trend in fusion food.
Susan holds a BA degree from the Xian University in China and an MBA degree from the University of Sheffield in the UK.
Peter Ko
Hong Kong
Peter is a qualified Chartered Accountant and a Chartered Financial Analyst and joined the Hong Kong office of Scarborough Group in 2004 to head up its finance and accounting function. He has over 20 years’ experience in the fields of accounting, corporate finance, mergers and acquisitions, investment and treasury.
Before joining Scarborough, Peter worked for major accounting firms Ernst and Young and PWC in Hong Kong, the UK and Australia. Peter holds a Bachelor of Social Sciences degree from the University of Hong Kong and a Master of Commerce degree from the University of New South Wales in Australia.
